Most patients can get back to their daily activities immediately after a Profhilo treatment. It’s non-surgical and minimally invasive, meaning very little downtime before you can get back to the things you love.

You may experience some temporary redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection sites. These side effects are generally mild and rarely last more than a few days. The frequency and nature of these effects very much depends on the area being treated, so don’t hesitate to ask your practitioner for an honest and impartial opinion based on our ample experience with this treatment; plus tailored aftercare instructions. With just two sessions spaced a month apart, you can observe significant skin hydration and rejuvenation. Occasionally (and this depends on your skin type), a third top up treatment may be recommended. The Profhilo solution continues to work under the skin for about a month after each treatment, stimulating your natural collagen and elastin production. Helpfully, this effect continues long after Profhilo has naturally degraded in your body, which extends its effectiveness. Generally, we invite you to have top-up sessions around once every six months – but again, this depends on which parts of the body have been treated and your chosen priorities.
