Liquid Lift

The Art of Effortless Elegance

Non-Surgical Facelift

The Tension Reset

This advanced neuromodulator treatment is not just about smoothing lines, it’s a sophisticated approach to rebalancing facial tension and restoring natural harmony. Instead of freezing expression, it softens overactive muscles, lifts areas of heaviness, and lets the face express itself with ease and elegance.

As we age, some muscles dominate, pulling features downward or exaggerating expressions, while others lose their supportive strength. By selectively relaxing these overactive areas, the non-surgical Facial Harmony Lift restores equilibrium, refines contours, and allows the face to move freely and gracefully once more.

Applications include:
Brow lift – softening frown lines and subtly elevating the brow arch while preserving expression.
Eye rejuvenation – diminishing crow’s feet and uplifting the outer brow to open the gaze.
Jawline sculpting – relaxing the masseters for a more tapered contour and relief from clenching.
Neck and jaw tension – easing platysma bands and DAO pull to refine the jawline and lift the corners of the mouth.
Chin refinement – smoothing dimpling, rebalancing lower-face proportions and restoring the natural chin projection.
Nasal tip lift – reducing downward pull for a more delicate nasal contour.
Lip and smile balance – softening gummy smiles, performing subtle lip flips, and restoring symmetry.

Performed with precision and artistry, the Facial Harmony Lift is more than a cosmetic adjustment, it’s a tension reset that rejuvenates, lifts, and restores natural, expressive beauty.

HA Filler Lift

Structural Elegance

Hyaluronic acid or HA is a naturally occurring molecule that binds and retains water within the skin, giving it suppleness and vitality. Modern HA fillers are refined, engineered variations of this molecule, each with its own architecture of lift, elasticity, and integration. In the right hands, they are not used to fill the face, but to rebuild it by restoring the elegant framework that time has softened.

We do not chase lines. We sculpt structure.

Anatomical Harmony: The Three Planes of Ageing

1. Deep Structural Layer
With age, bone resorption subtly alters the foundation of the face: flattening the mid-cheek, softening the chin, and weakening the jawline. Deep-placed fillers here act as invisible architecture, reinstating projection and support.

2. Mid and Deep Fat Compartments
The face is composed of intricate fat compartments, each ageing differently: some deflate, others descend. By restoring volume to key anchor zones such as the medial cheek and nasolabial region, facial weight is repositioned upward, recreating the youthful inverted triangle of balance and light.

3. Superficial Layer and Skin Envelope
At the most delicate level, finer fillers restore contour and texture such as smoothing transitions beneath the eyes, refining the lips, and softening fine lines. Here, hydration meets architecture; structure meets light.

The result is not the look of having work done, but the quiet return of proportion, vitality, and elegance. The beauty that feels entirely your own.

The Art of Refined Volume

This advanced dermal filler treatment is not simply about adding volume, it is a considered approach to restoring structure, balance, and youthful definition. Rather than altering features, it replenishes what time has softened, supporting the natural contours of the face with subtle precision.

As we age, collagen diminishes and facial volume shifts, leading to hollowness, shadowing, or loss of definition. Through carefully placed hyaluronic acid fillers, facial proportions can be gently restored, contours refined, and harmony re-established, allowing the face to appear refreshed, lifted, and effortlessly elegant.

Structure, Balance & Expression

1. Defining the Frame
The underlying structure of the face determines how light falls and how features relate to one another. Strategic filler placement along the chin, jawline, or cheekbones can strengthen definition, enhance projection, and create balance, even in younger patients seeking refinement rather than correction. Here, fillers act not as volume for its own sake, but as subtle structural support.

2. Sculpting Proportion
Beyond ageing-related volume changes, facial proportions vary naturally from person to person. Thoughtful enhancement can bring greater symmetry, restore balance between upper and lower face, or refine specific features such as cheeks or lips. Volume is placed with restraint and intention, enough to elevate and contour, never to overwhelm.

3. Refining Detail
At a more delicate level, softer fillers improve transitions and contour, smoothing under-eye hollows, defining lip borders, or refining shallow lines. Hydration and structure work together, enhancing texture and light reflection while preserving natural movement and expression.

The goal is not to “look different,” nor merely to reverse time. It is to support the face’s natural architecture, restoring where needed, enhancing where appropriate, and always preserving identity. The result is structural elegance: balanced, expressive, and entirely your own.

Applications include:

  • Cheek restoration – replenishing mid-face volume to support structure and enhance natural lift.

  • Jawline refinement – defining contours for a balanced, sculpted profile.

  • Chin enhancement – improving projection and proportion to restore facial symmetry.

  • Nasolabial softening – reducing deeper folds while preserving expression.

  • Marionette line correction – restoring smoothness around the lower face.

  • Lip definition and hydration – enhancing shape, balance, and subtle fullness without heaviness.

  • Temple and under-eye rejuvenation – addressing hollowing to soften shadows and fatigue.

Performed with clinical precision and artistic restraint, dermal fillers are more than a cosmetic enhancement, they are a restorative treatment designed to support the face’s natural architecture. The result is not transformation, but refinement: balanced, harmonious features that look refreshed while remaining unmistakably you.

FAQs

What is a Liquid Lift?

The Liquid Lift is an advanced, non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment that combines precisely placed dermal fillers and neuromodulators to restore facial structure, rebalance proportions, and achieve a naturally lifted appearance — without surgery, scarring, or significant downtime.

Unlike a surgical facelift, which pulls and tightens, the Liquid Lift works by restoring what time has quietly taken: volume, definition, and the elegant geometry of a younger face. The result is not transformation, but restoration — a refreshed, balanced version of yourself that looks entirely natural.

How long does a Liquid Lift last?

Results vary depending on the treatments used and individual factors such as metabolism, skin quality, and lifestyle. As a general guide:

  • Neuromodulator (anti-wrinkle) results typically last 3–4 months, with some patients finding longevity improves with regular treatment.

  • Dermal filler results last between 8 months and 2 years, depending on the product used, the area treated, and how the body integrates the filler.

Many patients maintain their results with a light annual review, addressing any areas that have naturally evolved rather than repeating the full treatment each time. The goal is a living, evolving result — not a static one.

Is a Liquid Lift painful?

Discomfort is minimal for the vast majority of patients. Most dermal fillers contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, which significantly reduces any sensation during treatment. For more sensitive areas, additional numbing cream or a local anaesthetic block may be used.

At Dr Hanson Clinic, we take the time to ensure you are comfortable throughout. There is no need to endure discomfort in pursuit of elegance.

What is the difference between a Liquid Lift and a surgical facelift?

A surgical facelift repositions and tightens skin and underlying tissue through incisions, typically under general anaesthesia, with a recovery period of several weeks. Results are long-lasting — often 7–10 years — but the procedure carries the risks, cost, and commitment associated with surgery.

A Liquid Lift achieves a natural lift and restoration of facial volume through injectable treatments, with no incisions, no general anaesthesia, and minimal downtime — most patients return to normal activity the same day or the next morning. Results are more gradual and require maintenance, but for many patients the Liquid Lift delivers 60–70% of the visual benefit of surgery with a fraction of the commitment.

The two approaches are not mutually exclusive. Some patients use the Liquid Lift to delay surgery by years; others use it to maintain the results of a surgical procedure they have already had.

Who is a good candidate for the Liquid Lift?

The Liquid Lift is suited to patients in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are noticing early to moderate signs of ageing — volume loss, softening of the jawline, shadowing beneath the eyes, or a general sense that the face has lost its former definition — but who are not yet ready for, or do not wish to pursue, surgery.

It is also highly effective for younger patients seeking subtle refinement of facial proportions, or for those looking to correct the results of previous treatments they are unhappy with.

A careful consultation is always the first step. Not everyone is best served by the same approach, and Dr Hanson will always provide an honest assessment of what is possible and what is right for you specifically.

How many sessions are needed?

The Liquid Lift can often be achieved in a single comprehensive session of 45–90 minutes, though some patients prefer to approach it in two visits — the first to address structural concerns, the second to refine and layer once swelling has settled and integration is visible.

A review appointment 2–4 weeks after treatment is recommended to assess results and plan any refinements. After the initial course, most patients return once or twice a year for maintenance.

Treatment Experience: What to Expect?

The Liquid Lift can be performed in one comprehensive session or across multiple visits. This allows time for integration, swelling to settle, and more precise layering.

  • Anaesthesia: Most fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. Numbing cream or blocks may also be used for sensitive areas.

  • Downtime: Minimal. You may experience mild swelling or pinpoint bruising. Most return to work and social life within a day.

  • Duration: 45–90 minutes, depending on the scope

  • Results: Immediate lifting effect, with final results seen after 4-6 weeks. Treatment effects begin within days, peaking at 10-14 days.

We often recommend a 2-4 weeks’ review to assess integration and plan maintenance or refinement. Treatments last anywhere from 8 months to 2 years, depending on product, placement, and metabolism.

The Liquid Lift is not about looking “done.”
It’s about looking rested, restored, and recognisably you.

Which Areas Can be Treated?

  • Midface lift: Restore cheek projection without lateral bulk

  • Under-eye hollowing: Rebalance the lid-cheek junction when suitable in expert hands only

  • Temples: Support lateral brow and upper face with discreet correction

  • Lips: Enhance shape and definition without volume overload

  • Chin and jawline: Improve facial proportions, balance profiles, and soften jowling

  • Nasolabial and marionette zones: Reposition rather than “fill” heaviness

  • Facial balancing: Subtle tweaks to bring symmetry and harmony

Each product is chosen by rheology of how its lift, stretch, and integration qualities. We use high G’ products for structure, mid-range for mouldability, and soft low-viscosity fillers for skin-level hydration and finesse.
